Critique my Arabians conformation. Pictures Included.?

So, my Arab is 5 years old, a gelding and he is 14.2 hands high. He is a rescue and we got him about 2 and 1/2 months ago. He has gained LOADS of weight and he has also gained L-O-A-D-S of spirit. But anyway, thats out of the question. So how does his conformation look? Keep in mind the position of the camera, like one or two photo I was to far forward making his butt looks small. Lol any way,

thanks for your time.

^ Just a random photo of him, but oh I LOVE this photo of him!

Thanks again!

Update:

Yes, I am P-o-s-i-t-i-v-e he is full blood Arab. It must be the point of view in those photos cause if you seen him in real life he has a big dip in his head.

Update 2:

Yes, he does have a small butt... You should of seen him the day we rescued him! And I have hopes for him... maybe one day he will be good looking (:

Update 3:

Ya, I am in the process of shedding him out and I am getting some rubber bands tonight to braid his hair xD I was going to do it yesterday but didnt have time to get some rubber bands. I am un willing to clip him as I dont want to damage and clip all of his new Summer Coat as it is coming in georgously.

Update 4:

And on the last photo his butt doesnt look too small... Lol okay, I will work on the butt muscles though.

I hope you will learn how to flatter a horse when you take its picture. Those are really poor pictures, you did nothing to flatter him!!.

When a horse has a weak short hip you never take a shot that is closer to the front quarters. Never take a picture when the head is closer to the camera than the neck, the head always looks big. If your legs could bend and you squatted a little his legs would not look so short.

Look at some beautiful pictures of horses and try to take some the same way.

I think there are a lot of conformation critics here and they will chop him down. But that is when you decide to make him better trained than other horses in your area and work better than the horses of some of the critics.

his butt looks a little small but after a few months of exercise her should bulk up some and gain muscle. Is he full arabian just asking because his head looks flat it doesnt have the arabian curve to it. Any way just give him a few months he should get there. Good job on rescueing we just got a QH in feburary (he was a rescue too) and he hasnt made that much process (he was full of worms and he had a server cold ) so Good job

His head is a little large for Arab, unless he is Polish, but besides that he would look exceptional if he was clipped (or sheds out), exercised, and (my personal preference) BRAIDED. I have a friend with a couple Arabs and their manes are three-four feet long. If kept braided, horses hair is protected from wind damage, and will look beautiful. I really thought I was going to see something bad, but he is very nice! I like him:)

Can I just tell you he is soooo cute. He does have a tiny butt, but exercise will fix that. He has ok/good conformation try to make him stand square for pictures then we get the full effect.

Looks pretty good. But you need to work on the butt. Trotting and loping circles with build tons of muscle up!

Maybe it's just the angle of the pictures but his whole head and neck look way out of proportion to the rest of his body... Like, way bigger. Other than that and being a bit scrawny, he looks fine. Try to get front and side shots as well.

His head looks really big because the lack of muscle in his butt, neck and shoulders. he has the potential to be a very good looking horse:)

She looks a little uphill. her shoulders are good but you should try and work on the rear end.
