Why do Liberals want to Tax the rich instead of reforming the tax code?

Is the rant "Tax the Rich" a smoke screen? Obama and Buffet say they should pay more taxes but can still hide behind the tax code. If the t6ax code was reformed we would all pay our fair share. What's wrong with that?

It's all about power, maintaining it and buying votes.

It's easier and more popular among the liberal base. Our legislators whatever their

their political leanings manage to avoid hard work and fairness. To actually legislate

in the best interest, which is debatable in its own right, of the country and the voters

seems a lost goal unless the legislation contains pork that would never pass on its

    own.

Fairness does not get campaign contributions from special interest groups/lobbyists

to whom the legislators are are indebted as a group. The concerns are to get

reelected rather than making hard or unpopular choices. The system corrupts those

who enter the legislature with the intent to serve those who elected them and the

nation. Serving has been replaced with agendas.

Winning elections is hellishly expensive. It is truly disheartening and insulting to the

electorate when attack ads win elections. Tax the rich and Obama's birth certificate

controversy are of greater emphasis than trying to work together for the greater

benefit of the voters and the country.

Back in the early 70's the need for energy independence was a major goal.. As we

can see today, its importance was more of a talking point than a call to reform. We,

the electorate remain more victimized than served by the present system.

Leftists use class warfare and race baiting to get votes. They don't really tax the rich, because they are the rich. They just tax small businesses so that us commoners can't become rich like them.

People who vote for leftists have a disorder. They so want to believe the lies of the democrats that they pretend they are true even in the face of obvious truth.

In any event, a flat tax system would be the way to go.

you're badly mistake bearing directly to the Crash of 1987. in accordance to information on record, an authoritative source of modern-activities information for professional examine and coaching, the 1987 crash "marked the tip of a 5-year 'bull' industry that had seen the Dow upward thrust from 776 factors in August 1982 to a intense of two,722.40 two factors in August 1987." in contrast to what occurred in 1929, although, the industry rallied right this moment after the crash, posting a record one-day earnings of 102.27 the very next day and 186.sixty 4 factors on Thursday October 22. It took purely 2 years for the Dow to get well thoroughly; via September of 1989, the industry had regained all the cost it had lost interior the '87 crash. It had no longer something to do with human beings advertising 2d residences. As for Maryland, the item you mentions states "little doubt the final public of that loss in millionaire filings effects from the recession." because of fact the wealthiest 5 p.c. of human beings carry extra suitable than fifty 5 p.c. of the country's wealth i've got self belief it purely honest that they pay extra suitable than something human beings.
