Happy Beltane...................... !?

Unfortunately, foul play was at hand to my plans, I was supposed to go for the first time to the Beltane Fire Festival held in Edinburgh.

I am disappointed but I can not do anything really, not home and my grandmother is Catholic and my grandparents still think that I am going through a phase and believe Catholicism propaganda!!

I will one day be settled enough to do something lol

It actually snowed here yesterday so no, dance around the maypole for us *sigh* but a lovely feast was had and a rite held in the warmth of a friend's home.

Unfortunately I am very sick-- terrible cold or flu or something-- and I am stuck here on the sofa today.

I was supposed to cook for the family and friends but had to call it off. The kids set up the altar and have been playing and stuff, celebrating in their own way, and my husband is making something simpler for dinner, but I am just out of it.

Kind of sucks, lol. But happy Beltane to you.

Celebrating today by doing a bit of work in the garden and maybe later, I may jump a small fire in my cauldron like I did last year. MERRY BELTANE!!!!!
