Was Osama bin Laden the head of Al-Qaida?
I thought he was the head of the Taliban. The Taliban is part of Al-Qaida. I didn't know it was the head of Al-Qaida.

You could consider the Taliban to be part of the Al-Qaida franchise. Taliban is the most popular part of Al-Qaida. While Osama was the most important figure in Al-Qaida, technically he was the head of the Taliban.
