Since this question landed, unlike the timber you are referring to, in the adoption section, I take it it has a parabole, ie, if someone is adopted and nobody knows, apart from the birth and adopted parents, then will anyone ever know?

Yes. The child will sense that "something is not right".

The birth mother will suffer for her whole life.

The adopters will be happy, but deep down, they will have a guilty conscience.

yup...

ive seen/heard trees fall before. they all make noises when they fall. It is impossible that they would not make a noise. when any mass moves it changes the frequency in the air waves (like a pebble thrown in a still pond) hence creating a wave.... a sound wave....
