Atheists : Where do the rules for correct reasoning come from?

Were do the rules for correct reasoning come from ? Are these rules fixed ? Are they absolute ? Are there alternative sets of rules that are also correct but leads to different results ? Could it be that christians ( or religious people in general ) have another set of rules ? How to decide that a set of rules results in correct reasoning ? Are there rules for that ?

Man has always decided what was and is not moral...and this has changed depending on the time era or even geographical location...there are certain rules that are for lack of better word - golden...don't hurt or kill someone unless you have no choice/self defense, do not steal from others, do not breed with close relatives...obviously these are things that are apparent in every culture because they're necessary for a peaceful society and for the survival of its inhabitants...

here are some quotes from the bible with sources:

Leviticus 19:27 reads “You shall not round off the side-growth of your heads nor harm the edges of your beard.”

Leviticus 19:28 reads, “You shall not make any cuts in your body for the dead nor make any tattoo marks on yourselves: I am the Lord.”

Leviticus 19:19 “You are to keep My statutes. You shall not breed together two kinds of your cattle; you shall not sow your field with two kinds of seed, nor wear a garment upon you of two kinds of material mixed together.”

As with most of the rules in bibles i refuse to believe that an omnipotent diety made these rules..it obviously stems from humans who had some particular reason that suited them or their purposes at the time.

There is a field called logic that describes the rules of reasoning. These rules are fixed and absolute and if applied correctly always lead to the same result. It does appear that religious people would like for there to be another set of rules, one for religion and another for everything else, but that isn't the case. Yes, there are methods by which one checks to see if the logic holds.

    log·ic – noun

    1. the science that investigates the principles governing correct or reliable inference.

    2. a particular method of reasoning or argumentation.

    3. the system or principles of reasoning applicable to any branch of knowledge or study.

Non-notion does not require reasoning but when you are asking what had been the opting for elements on why anyone like myself, a former believer, now don't forget myself an Atheist I might don't forget Deductive reasoning and the loss of any ancient proof for Holy Scriptures in additional biblical assets as my major reasoning. I continually had disorders with the primary five books of the Old Testament, it is visible Mythical characters and parties however continually assumed the NT used to be correct seeing that that is what Orthodoxy teaches. When I truthfully discovered that I'd been lied to approximately the "reliability" of the NT, I gave into what my brain already knew from enjoy and that used to be the reality there's no God, simply wishful considering.

The rules for correct atheist thinking are based on reaching the desired conclusion without other criteria being necessary unless it is in complete agreement with the desired conclusion.
