What might be preventing me from losing weight?

I'm 16 years old, 5'2 and 144 pounds (as of recently) and I've struggled with my weight for a few years now. I've tired different diets, nothing too serious, but I've never seen any results.

Most recently, I cut back to 1000-1300 calories a day (Previously I was eating around 1800) and I started walking a mile every day and/or going for a bike ride. Plus, eating more fruit and drinking lots of water.

The problem is, I've actually gained two pounds. Usually, I can maintain my weight, I just have trouble losing it, but now I've actually put on weight even though I've been dieting... I just don't get it...

Just wondering, is there any health problem/medical condition that might be preventing me from losing weight? I can rule out thyroid issues because I've had that tested. Also, I've wondered about having a really low metabolism... So that might be it...? But anyway-

Any other ideas?

*Also, I'm not really looking for recommendations on any other diets I should try. I'm pretty happy with what I'm doing now. I'm just a bit frustrated that it's not working...

Thanks- Kellyn

Update:

***Okay and let me try to be more specific about my diet- The only soda I have is diet (which is zero calories/fat) and besides that, I drink mostly water and some milk. The worst thing I have as far as junkfood is goldfish.. I'll snack on those occasionally. But I mostly eat organic food, some fruit, yogurt, and fiber bars. Not a lot of meat, or anything super fattening really. I'm kinda nuts about reading the nutritional info on everything, so I never get anything TOO bad

Don't worry about the fact that you gained weight, that's just your muscles that are being built after the exercices you do. Not only fat has a weight, muscles do too !

you need to stop worrying about how many "calories" you have eaten..as this is really not an accurate or healthy diet necessarily. I bet you are eating things that you think or they say, advertise are healthy,,but they are not and still fattening. also, you have to walk each day or do some type of excercise..this really helps also.

okay, to get into shape , rid yourself of excess fat and lose weight ,,,,,do as follows:

Stop drinking & smoking (if you do this regularly)

eat fruits & vegetables all you can (buy a food/rice steamer to make it easy on you)...(vegetables are not tasty, like junk foods,, but can be as you aquire your taste to them..and are loaded with energy and nutrients)...avoid all junk food, cokes, sweets, etc...and drink water, juice or milk only . If you eat meat ,,eat only steamed fish or chicken.

also, do an hour of walking each day at least. or some type of excercise.

    * you should lose about 10 lbs per month

There don't seem to be many. Most of the time, suggestion now not continuously, any one is simply pronouncing "Oh its now not rather my fault I'm fats, I have a clinical situation." Sorry, however that is precise, many men and women, my dad and mom integrated say this, however it is simply an excuse. There are a few thyroid stipulations that might do that, however they're really infrequent.
