Are Aliens Out There?

Hi. They are in Pleades Star system, Orion, Venus on the moon all over the place.

They are even here on Earth in underground base in Dulce New Mexico.

They're are thousands of different kinds.

Well, if you want good answers, then ask good questions. This is not a /stupid/ question necessarily, but it is definitely too broad and open ended to be answerable, so you're not going to get a GOOD definitive answer, we're just random people sitting at our computers, not some super-scientists or anything... and considering that science can't even properly answer such a question yet, you're being ridiculous. If you want a good answer, as a good question. In a sense, it's sort of moronic to ask, because if you're not a moron, you should know we can't have that answer.

The universe to us, is for all intents and purposes, infinitive. We can't really even comprehend it's size, we don't know where it starts or ends, or what all is out there, we're just not that far along. I think it's silly to believe that in the vast universe there are not some other forms of life somewhere, but they may not be at all like we imagine them to be, not like the "movie" aliens or anything, and they may be so far from us that it will take our technology centuries to advance long enough to come anywhere close to knowing for sure where other life may be, and then centuries after that to figure out how to get to them or anything. So sorry to crush your dreams, but more likely than not, you will not meet an alien. First of all, more likely than not the first people to make contact will be special people in that field, like not just anyone can be an astronaut and all, well, not just anyone can meet an alien. And chances are, the technology it could require is really not something we can figure out anytime soon. Chances are, you and I will be long dead when such may be going on. So might want to aim a little lower.

We do not know. We have one example so far that life can happen. That is us on Earth. Now take this further. Time scales in the universe are mind boggling so maybe they were around on their planet when dinosaurs were around here. Maybe they have not evolved yet. Maybe they have evolved but destroyed themselves in wars. Maybe they evolved and were wiped out but an asteroid.

There are many reasons we can think of but until contact is made, they are just guesses. As our ability to examine an exo planets atmosphere we may well start to get answers. This is looking at a planets atmosphere from here and examining the spectrum of that planets atmosphere and looking for signs of life.

And no, there is no contact yet.

Considering the size of the universe it would be presumptuous of us to think we were the only life forms in the universe.
