Does taking Potassium rob the body of Magnesium?

Potassium interacts with sodium but not magnesium. A sodium deficiency is virtually unheard of as most of get too much sodium. Most processed foods contain added sodium chloride (table salt) for flavor.

Calcium interacts with magnesium so a very high calcium intake can reduce you magnesium level due to preferential absorption of calcium.
