Is it possible to stay in a relationship for the family?
I have a friend who is in a relationship but not really all there. However, he is extremely close to the girl's father, loves the mother and adores the little brother. Do you think he is afraid of breaking up with the family? Has anyone experienced this? He refuses to move in with her or take the relationship to the next level but, he can't quite break it off. They do everything as a family and they hardly ever spend time together alone. Any thoughts?

Thats common in some cases. If he is very attached with the family he can break up with her and still be friends if they break up on great terms. It may be hard for them at first but he can be a great friend if the relationship thing isn't working. You can't date the family you have to date the person

You 100% can't stay with someone for the family. It obviously would be hard to brake away from people your close to but it would be so much worse in years to come, He will only make more connections and friends. The sooner the brake up the better!
