What NFL team should I cheer for?
I love hockey and the NBA, but I have only recently grown interested in the NFL. I am from northern Canada and would love to become a born-again NFL fan! I am hoping that some football fans out there might try to convince me why I should jump on their bandwagons and become a fan of their teams. I am partial towards tough defenses since we all know the adage about what wins championships, and I would also like a team on the rise though not necessarily one that's already in the elite ranks. I guess I'd love to be a part of the journey! Thanks.

You might be interested in knowing that the Green Bay Packers are the only team that is fully owned by its fans, is not for profit, cannot be moved; and, if sold, all the proceeds go to charity. It is not a bad team right now either.
But, if you are the Donald Trump type personality, go with the Cowboys. Jerry Jones makes Trump look like a humanitarian.

If you want a team on the rise, go with Detroit. They're close to Canada and are starting to build what could be a brutal defense. Im personally not a Lions fan but that seems to be one of the current bandwagon teams. You might as well jump on it as well.

The Philadelphia Eagles recently drafted a Canadian offensive lineman, Danny Watkins. They are a young team but not considered elite yet.
