Rockin' Roller Coaster Disney World?

I'm going to Disney World soon and I was wondering how bad rockin' roller coaster is?

I have been on Thunder Mountain and Space Mountain and I like those, but I definitely would not like Expedition Everest. I've never been on a roller coaster that goes up-side-down but I don't think I'll mind that. I'm more worried about whether or not there are any large drops on this ride. Does anyone know if there are?

The darkness doesn't bother me. Actually, that's what I like about Space Mountain. I don't mind not being able to see where I am going.

So should I go on it?

Thanks!

There aren't any big drops in Rock 'n' Roller Coaster. The loop is pretty tame. I struggle with the coasters at Islands of Adventure, but Rock 'n' Roller Coaster is my favorite coaster anywhere. It's so smooth. The launch is the worst part and it's just big acceleration.

If you like Aerosmith, you love it.

Rockin' Roller coaster does not have huge drops because it is indoors and the building is too small for a drop that would be similar to a Millenium Force. You will go upside down because there is a corkscrew. You do get launched from zero to 60 in a couple of seconds. Overall, this is my favorite roller coaster. It's not as intense as the mega coasters, but is a lot of fun. It also has a good story line - it's more of a theme coaster than a straight ride coaster. Big Thunder Mountain Railroad and Space Mountain are barely roller coasters. They are more like kiddie rides. Rockin Roller coaster is a real roller coaster, not a kiddie ride.

well how do you know that you definitely would not like expedition everest? its an extremely tame roller coaster. in my opinion its nothing more than a glorified thunder mountain. the drops are curved. i don't care for it that much just cuz it is a bit of a let down.

there are no large drops on rock n roller coaster. the launch from 0-60mph in 2.8secs is really the key thrill in this ride. it gives you that "tickle in your tummy" feeling during the launch. there are 3 inversions (going upside down). one is a vertical loop which you go straight into after the launch. then there is a roll over, and then there is a cork screw. and in between there are signs and scenery and throughout the ride aerosmith music is playing.

its quite intense but sooooo much fun!

you can always watch both expedition everest and rock n roller coaster on youtube to get a feel for them and see if you would want to ride them.

Lots of twists and turns, fairly fast.

    I think you'll like it :-)
