my only guess is to take extra measures for crowd safety and to better segregate both clubs trouble makers etc.
remember a lot of them still go to games and have to be more whats the word, ah yes discreet - they need to be more discreet and blend in with the moderates, so that CCTV anti-hooligan policing etc find it hard to spot them.
doesnt mean theyre not there.
these ppl are dangerous to the average fan who just wants to enjoy teh football and not get involved in scuffles before and after the game.
i reckon those 10 minutes are used just for that - maybe its a last minute decision ? to trick em and catch em out ?
who knows.
id laugh if im way off on this one - and that the real reason is/was something else : ))

Just to ensure that we Man United fans in Oz have a little extra time to snooze before we have to get up in the liddle of the night to watch our team claim the victory (again).
