Who Do You Want To Be In Life?

I really like this question. I'm going to try to simplify because I'm sure you don't want to read an essay about me.

Well first off, I want to graduate high school at the top 2% of my class, and then go to college with a Business degree (I'm only 17). I want to absorb as much knowledge as possible and remain curious, academic, and worldly for the rest of my days. I want to open my business, where I'd like to sell my creative endeavors. I was thinking a surf/art/surf clothing shop would fit the needs. I want to keep helping people throughout my life, by devoting some of my time and profits to charities, and I want to start a surf clothing line that not only looks good, but where a certain amount of profit will go to people in need. Art is one of my passions, and I love the freedom it gives you, the expression, and the way you can open people's eyes (literally, people are most perceptive through images than text or other senses).

I'd also think I'd like to write a book about how we're all connected, and that when you discect our actions and beliefs, we're not that different (it sounds a little cheesy right now so I was thinking of writing fiction instead, where this is the underlying theme).

In my free time, I'd like to stay active. I'd like to paint, jog, surf, play sports, and have fun with friends like I do right now. Getting involved in community things is also fun.

As for skills...well I'd like to know a lot! I just need to go out and get started on everything!

I left out the typical "wife and kids" plan because you asked about MY life. Obviously I'd like to find a girl I love with all my heart and have children as well so I can pass on everything I've learned.

I want to be the person who makes a huge impact on the field of Oncology and Cancer research. I want to develop such a deep understanding of these abnormal growths that I become a world renowned expert. Making the largest impact on people who are suffering from the dreaded ailment known as cancer. I would be the doctor (oncologist) that everyone wanted to see because of knowledge and caring demeanor. Letting each and every patient I meet that I truly do care for them, and I will strive to help them conquer cancer. When I wouldn't be at the hospital, I would be spending time with my kids, and traveling with my wife. I would also have my Bachelors in Biology and Chemistry from ODU (Work in progress) and go on to Case Western Reserve University and get accepted into their MD/PhD program with my MD in Oncology, and my PhD in Biomedical Engineering. At the end of my life, I would hope people would look back fondly of the Stephen they knew not only as a doctor, but a caring individual. I would also hope that my advancements within the Oncology field would last a long time, being the fundamental building blocks to curing cancer.

i want to be old enough to know better and too young to care.

seriously tho, i would like to live in an old farm house in a remote area where all people do the same thing live clean and happy i would love to have many children and to clean and cook and sew and create. i want to be the best mom ever and my children well and happy. but that would have to be in the next life dear for i am unable to achieve that goal now.

Oh jeez this is the third time I'm re-writing my answer I had to it sounded so lame! lol but im going to say published author, dancer in my freetime and I wanna have knowledge about everything! I wanna depend on no one and travel the world! woohoo! XD

I don't think you can explain the essence of being. But to be honest, i don't care that much about what I do or learn, as long as you are happy with yourself and your situation.
