Is my grammar right in this example: "the medicine made me sleepy"?

the--adjective

medicine--subject

made--verb

me--direct object

sleepy--adverb

(this does not look like an indirect object example to me)

    Looks fine to me.

    All correct except for "the" - it's a definite article, not an adjective.
