what do you think about capitalism in america?

American capitalism is just corporate fascism, and it's winning. The Ultra-rich have essentially pulled off a coup, with compliance of their Republican minions.

By the way, the Soviets didn't practice Socialism. Soviet Communism was an entirely different creature.

I think you have been slightly brainwashed about what capitalism is... capitalism is necessary..

people who dont work and do not produce anything, waiting for their next hand-out are a drain on society, its the rich that create jobs and stimulate the economy... a free market creates competition..

if you give a man a fish, he eats for a day, if you teach him to fish, he eats all the time... if someone who does nothing earns the same as a man who works very hard, there is no incentive to anyone to work hard.. it will all be taken away and given to the people who dont work and dont have as much...

you need incentive to work, and there must be incentives for buisness to stay in buisness, or else they close or move away, no one has jobs, one earns money except the poor getting their hand-outs and the government..... capitalism is necessary so this doesnt happen..... working hard, competition, thats capitalism, not sitting around waiting for the government to step in and give you something you didnt earn.... choice is important.. there is no choice in socialism or communism.... you are told what to do and how to do it, in business and in life.. thats no way to live.. freedom is the american way and its run with capitalism... i know Obama doesnt really believe it.. but it does work, if you let companys run how they want, hire who they want, pay what they want, and run their own business.. when the gov't gets involved, they mess everything up.... there isnt a business out there that the gov't runs that isnt in debt or needing more subsity and handouts...

There's a TV show I think you'd like. It's called Russia Today. It's not about Russia. It's about the United States. It's propaganda paid for by the Russian government. We do the same thing over there. It's a great show.

It is clearly not working very well.

And the Soviet Union had totalitarian communism, not socialism. Socialism and communism do not need to be totalitarian, and I think it would be a good idea to give a more libertarian form of socialism a try in the US.

American was founded on a Capitalistic principal. That would be fine if unbridled greed didn't rear it's ugly head as it does today.

I think Americans are totally disgusted with the way CEO's plunder their companies and take big bonuses every year. How much lower could prices be if the thieves at the top didn't keep giving themselves exorbitant amounts of money?

But what to do about it? ..... There seems to be nothing that we can do???
