Is there any rule that certain gemstones should be worn only on certain fingers?
Or can any gemstone be worn by anyone (regardless of sun sign or moon sign) on any finger?
I've already looked it up according to Indian astrology. I'd like to be enlightened on the beliefs of other cultures and views on gemstones.
@ Rajesh_19: Nope, I didn't mind you saying that. About these gemstones, I'm just curious. Because a lot of people talk about life changing events happening due to certain gemstones, and I've also read about gems bringing good luck as well as misfortune. I'm just not sure what to believe. When I started to research about it, I got to know about birthstones and planetary influence and things like that. The question's out of curiosity :-)

If you feel that your parent's "love & affection" is not enough for you then only you should go for these "gems n stones"...........sorry for my hard words!!

You can wear any stone on any finger. Even if particular stones do have particular properties, if you're wearing them it's going to influence you no matter what finger it's on.
