Hodads in Ocean Beach vs. Rocky's Crown Pub in Pacific Beach?

If we are strictly speaking of the actual burger, then hands down Rocky's. The patty is big and juicy and oh so good. The burgers at Hodad's are very good as well, just not in the same realm as Rocky's.

Now, if we are talking about burgers in general with all different condiments, Rocky's still wins. Hodad's does a weird bacon burger, texture of extra crispy hash browns- not good, regardless of what Guy Fieri says. Rocky's bacon is De-Licous! Hope this helps! If anyone ever asks you to pick them up a Rocky's burger, you should definitely do it!

Definitely Rocky's. The other upside is that Rocky's is not all touristed-out.

Rocky's all the way! I lived just around the corner from there and the cooking smell of the burgers drove me nuts. Their burgers are the best I ever had on planet Earth.
