How do I spot clean a chiffon dress?

I have a foundation smudge on the front of my chiffon dress.. how do I clean it?

Update:

btw I bought my dress online and it didn't come with a label, so I don't know what type of chiffon it is exactly.

    Sponge it off with a solution of dish washing detergent and warm water. Foundation has oil in it, so you need something that will cut through the oil. Dawn is the best one.
