What ever happened to the tv show The Riches?
We loved the show and kept waiting and waiting for it to come back, checked their website - nothing. Forgot about it til just now. Does anyone know why it didn't come back?

The ratings were one reason and the other was that since the writers went on a long strike, only 7 episodes were made out of the 13 that were ordered. Then since the writers were striking, the show just kind of died out since no new episodes were made.

A second season of 13 episodes was announced on May 8, 2007 by FX for broadcast in the first half of 2008. It premiered on March 18, 2008. Due to a long writer's strike, only 7 episodes were produced.
