is it okay to wash chiffon in water?
there is a foundation stain on my chiffon dress, I was told to wash it with water and dish soap to remove it. but I read that water stains chiffon..so won't that make it worse? ><
Also, I bought my dress online and it didn't come with a tag so I don't know what type of chiffon it is.

Maybe. You won't know until you try.
Is there a tag and you just don't see it? It could be sewn into the side seam of the dress, or under the label

I have washed my chiffon shirts with water and they were fine. But I didn't risk putting them in the dryer, as chiffon can easiliy melt. So just air dry.
