Woodworm in my wooden rolling pin?

I dug out my mum's old wooden rolling pin and found it's got a few holes in it. I tapped it and a dead bug came out of it. Is there any refill material that I can use to repair it and still use the rolling pin or is it just fit to be recycled? Thanks for your help and answers. I just can't bear the thought of throwing it away if it can still be used.

A few holes won't affect the way it works. Putit in the freezer for a day or two to kill any bugs and fill any holes with epoxy.

You can buy food grade epoxy wood filler such as used for wood cutting boards that should work just fine on your rolling pin.

I would microwave it first though, to make sure all the bugs are dead.
