We bought a zip line kid and are having trouble...?

because our trees are to big around. THe one side is fine...the cable is adjustable, the other is the issue. the cable with two loops isn't long enough to meet. I know I need to buy or make it bigger...or add a piece but, how or what should I buy.

    I use a log chain with pieces of wood up and down trapped behind it as to not damage the tree bark so much.
