My 2 1/2 year old used to sleep through the night but now he is waking up screaming at least 6 times/night?
He used to sleep 12 hours per night easily and occasionally 13 hours but now the past 2 nights he's been waking up screaming or crying. I walked in the one night and he was talking but not to me and when I called his name it was like he snapped out of it then slowly looked at me...lay down and went back to sleep.

It sounds like what my son went through the doctor called it night terrors. I suggest taking her to the doctor about it to get more information. He grew out of it before his forth birthday. I hope it helps.

Sounds like he may be having nightmares/ night terrors. Not too knowledgeable on this topic, try calling your doctor and see if they have any tips/info
