Why do you tar all Christians with the same brush ? We did not all believe the ramblings of a 89 year old who can not possibly know the information that he was claiming to know.

Huh? My DAY is the same as everyday and I'm gonna make it fabulous!

    RE: Jesus Christ Himself, says:

:32 “But about that day or hour no one knows, not even the angels in heaven, nor the Son, but only the Father. 33 Be on guard! Be alert[a]! You do not know when that time will come. 34 It’s like a man going away: He leaves his house and puts his servants in charge, each with their assigned task, and tells the one at the door to keep watch." Mark 13:32-34

Camping is saying not only the DATE, but also the hour. In other words, Camping is saying Jesus Christ lied. Camping is an instrument of the devil, who is going to successfully make a mockery out of scripture. You can already see the affects on here.

Unless you believe Jesus is a liar, you won't believe his garbage. IF ANYTHING AT ALL happens.. it will be the devil's doing.

Jesus will return, but it won't be today.. it could be the 23, but it won't BE TODAY.

I'm hoping YOU can have a nice day though... You seem a tad pre-occupied.

When anyone comes up with a supposed prophecy, we compare what he says with what the Bible says. Since the rapture is not an event anyone can set a date for, we knew Harold Camping was a false prophet. But that day is coming.

The Bible says the rapture will happen in a flash, in the blink of an eye. But it doesn't say when. We are only told to be watchful and know the signs of the times. By all accounts, it could happen sometime this summer.

1 Thessalonians 4:16-17 gives an account of what the rapture will look like.

Ephesians 1:13-14 says the Holy Spirit indwells every believer as a guarantee of salvation.

2 Thessalonians 2:7-8 says the Holy Spirit will be removed from this world so the antichrist can be revealed. When the Holy Spirit is removed so will all believing Christians. More on when to expect the antichrist in a moment. First, back to date setting the rapture.

The problem is that date-setting the rapture is impossible simply because it's not a date-sensitive event. It's based on a predetermined number of people coming to Christ, a number none of us knows. Paul explains it in Romans 11:25 ...

I do not want you to be ignorant of this mystery, brothers, so that you may not be conceited: Israel has experienced a hardening in part until the full number of the Gentiles has come in.

Israel has hardened its heart toward God and it's the rapture (along with God's defeat of Israel's invaders prophesied in Ezekiel 38-39) that will turn her back toward God.

In this verse Paul used nautical terms familiar to people of his day. "The full number" refers to the full compliment of crew members necessary before a ship could set sail and "come in" refers to its arrival at its final destination. It's where we get our familiar saying "my ship has finally come in." So once the "ship" of Christians is full, it can come in to Heaven. That's the rapture, metaphorically.

Now this battle foretold in Ezekiel will also begin what's called Daniel's 70th Week, the last seven years of Earth's existence as we know it. So the end of the world cannot happen until seven years after the rapture. Daniel's 70th Week is a time of God's judgement on the Earth, and God promised believers we would not experience His wrath. That's why there's a rapture.

The Great Tribulation is the last half (3.5 years) of Daniel's 70th Week. It's at this half-way mark that the anti-Christ is revealed. However he comes on the scene as a peacemaker immediately following the battle of Ezekiel 38-39. And he can't show up until the Holy Spirit is outta here and that means bible believing Christians gotta be out before things turn nasty.

I am spending the afternoon celebrating a friend's mothers' ninetieth birthday and I will be sure to add

"and many more" to the traditional Happy Birthday song. For not all Christians are dolts. However it appears some nonChristians are.
