Can you send blocked text messages?
My friend has been telling me she is getting strange texts from a blocked number, is it really possible to text with a blocked number as I thought it wasn't, also, is there any way of finding out who's sending the texts if she is receiving blocked text as she says she is?

If your friend is receiving messages like that it won't be being sent from a handset as you can't hide the number if you send it from a phone. However there are anonymous SMS sites on the net that could be used, as the previous answerer has said if your friend is distressed by them they should report it to the police - their operator will offer them a number change with a crime reference number.
There are a lot of spam messages going around at the moment - are the messages mentioning anything personal that indicates the sender knows your friend?

You can, I'm not sure how, and I don't think you can without police involvement, which is your best bet.
