Is this a wolf or a coyote tooth?

There's a penny for comparison. The total length is roughly one inch and a half, while only about a half of an inch would be exposed from the gums. It was sold as a wolf tooth, but judging on how cheap it was and small it is, we're thinking its coyote?

Judging by its relatively long and lean structure,
it is likely that of a coyote. Wolves tend to have
relatively more thickset and short canines.

ok, here's there differences...

Coyote: http://www.pugetsound.edu/files/resources/6219_Coy... .... If it is small, then it is a coyote's tooth but if it bigger than the coyote's, then it's a wolf's.
