Meaning and Interpretation in poetry?

I'm doing a presentation on Robert Frost's "The Road Not Taken" for year 12 English. The thing is that I can't fully distinguish between the 'meaning' of a poem and an 'interpretation' of one. I have often confused myself between the two. Can anyone help me out on this?

Not like "help-help", I mean like could any of you show/give examples of how a poem's meaning is different to its interpretation.

Thanks

Meaning in poetry is called the theme. Interpretation puts the often convoluted syntax of poetry in understandable English; the theme is what "truth," if any, the poem is trying to say.
