Rotten Tomatoes -- what's your experience there, if any?

I love movies and it seems like a decent site solely dedicated to film. But after not going there for awhile, I went back and it seems like many people can't just comment on or disagree about movies any more without trashing others. Is this worth it or is there a better forum (other than IMDb)?

    I use IMDB but there aren't many other good ones. Rotten tomatoes just isn't as well put together.

    Metacritic (www.metacritic.com). I love it.
