Is it possible to get a tattoo shaded in later on?

I'm getting a tattoo next week, at the moment I just want to get the outline done... just wondering if it's possible to get it shaded in/coloured at a later stage?

I'm guessing it is. Just want this confirmed. TY

Course you can. In fact if the tattoo is larger, most people recommend splitting it into two or more sittings to lessen the amount of trauma your body goes through at each time.

Depends how later. I had an outline done once and I ended getting up getting it filled in 6 months later and the guy had to re-do the outline. But that may have been because I went to a tattooist and not an artist. You can easily break up a tattoo into sessions, get the outline done, wait a day or few and get it filled in.

Of course, you can wait as long as you desire to get it filled in. It does not change a thing
