Advice about frequency of a workout routine?
I was looking up workouts online, and I found the "Daniel Craig" workout. It is essentially the same workout that I am doing now, but it says he did it 3x a week. The same sets, same reps, and same muscle groups, 3x a week.
I always heard that it is bad to work the same muscle groups more than once a week, so I am doing the same workout, but it is split into two different routines. So I only work the same muscles at the most 2x a week, when they happen to overlap.
Hope that makes sense, so is it really bad to do the exact same routine 3x a week. I am trying to bulk up, but also drop some fat.
Should also mention that it is just a coincidence that my routine is so similar to the Daniel Craig routines. I had it built for me by a trainer a year or so back.

It's ok to do it as in your first paragraph, w/ one day rest inbetween workouts, 3 workouts a week, w/ maybe an extra rest day, assuming it's a reasonable program w/ one excercise, 3 sets of 6-15 reps per muscle group, and not 3 or 4 excerises / per group, like arm biceps.
If you'r bulking up and use heavier wts, you could do 2 exercise sessions/wk.
Experiment, dont do too much too soon, or too much.
If there's any pain, refrain, use your brain.
