Why don't more "normal" sized stores sell plus sizes?

Wouldn't it make them more money if they did? Considering 34% of Americans are obese, it seems like it would be worth it to produce lager sizes. I know some may say that it is "supporting" obesity, but from a business perspective I think it makes sense. Anyone have opinions on this? Also, does anyone know of stores that do do this?

Maurices and Walmart do. I think it does make sense. :-)
