when is the last time you've seen a truely original anime power?

To Aru Majutsu no Index. No other series has a character that can truly manipulate the vectors of physics.

I also think Tenshi's abilities are pretty original. I like how they have that digitalized aspect to them.

Ryougi Shiki's Mystic Eyes of Death Perception allow her to be able to kill anything by cutting along the lines that only her eyes can see. This combined with her practically superhuman fighting skills gives her a unique sense of badassery only matched by certain characters in Type-Moon's other works.

You wouldn't think a show about mahjong would be that special, but Saki proves just how original it is by adding dramatic What Do You Mean, It's Not Awesome? special effects combined with insane hands dealt so much that it would make a statistician cry.

I find them all over. Naruto tends to have some unique ones, as do Fairy Tail and One Piece. Helsing, Witch Hunter and Getbackers have a couple of neat powers, too.
