That you do not know your scriptures well enough and are trying to sell false doctrines rather than offer true religion for free.

Unfortunately approaching Christianity or most if not all other religions on the basis of intellect or logic render them all mute or muted. My meaning is that you generally can't discuss intellect and religion due to their being oxymoron's. Much like putting logic and religion in the same sentence.

Oh! what an awesome statement of garbage. First we do not sell Christianity for the gift of love from Jesus is given through grace by faith freely to all who seek. Jesus never asked the blind and dumb to follow him and remain in their state. He often healed them and they followed innately out of gratitude or now being fully aware that Jesus was truly whom he said he was. A person using only intelligence will have a difficult time finding Jesus, but that is also true in finding love--both subjects require some expression of emotions which pure intelligence does not require. If that is circumnavigating, so be it but I do not believe it is so. Jesus is love, love is an unidentified emotion what cannot be touched, smelled, tasted, seen nor heard yet we all believe it exist. God is love, so cannot be touched, smelled, tasted, seen nor heard, so why do many not believe he exist. The evidence of God is everywhere you look, why can you not see him in your world view---is your intellect preventing you from knowing the truth and if your truth is true, that means God's truth is untrue when they conflict----wow! when did you become more intelligent than God? Perhaps never.

To sell one must convince another that a product has merit, is desirable, is needed, and is worth the expense required to procure that product. God and his salvation in that framework should be desirable, has merit, is needed and is worth the expense Jesus went through so you receive it free. You can never purchase, to buy, salvation, you can never be good enough for his salvation, you can never do enough good deeds for his salvation nor perform enough good works to merit his salvation, it all comes free from him who has already paid for it so it is a gift to unworthy people but given freely by him being worthy. Sell Christianity, no my friend, it is not for sale.

It means that Kirk Cameron is not preaching the gospel. We don't sell the Christian faith. You are free to believe or disbelieve it, as far as I am concerned. God, however, may have a different view on this matter.

It means Kirk is even stupider that we originally thought. I placed him at goldfish level before, since seeing him say this I have to go with dung beetle. This may be too high, a dung beetle serves a useful purpose.

Well for Kirk Cameron it means a journey of a nanometre. For somebody who actually has a significant intellect it is rather more difficult.

Sounds to me like having to sell it based on alleged emotional merits, because the logic fails.

It means that you have to avoid valid logical questions in order to sell Christianity. It could also mean that one has to avoid valid logical thought to be a Christian.

Because the intellect is woefully unequiped to handle the greater things of God

The human mind is a tinker toy compared to the mind of God

That they've finally decided to come clean and just plain TELL people that if you cease to think, Christianity becomes a viable option.

    That's nice.
