What's your favorite piano concerto?

    Wow, this question is so interesting I cannot star it.

    I like Busoni's, but I also like Chopin's, Mozart's, Beethoven's, Liszt's, Tchaikovsky's, don't forget Rachmaninoff, et cetera; the list is too diminutive to be listed here!

    EDIT: Mark T - thanks for the answer, however these are PIANO CONCERTOS, not solo works.

    Prokofiev's 3rd to me is possible the greatest concerto for any instrument ever written by any composer. Entirely in a class unto itself.

    I like Rachmaninov's 2nd and 3rd piano concertos. Rachmaninov is a really a genius in composing and he is one of the greatest pianist of all generations.

    Prokofiev 1, it's incredible. His 2nd and 3rd are also amazing. And all of Rachmaninoff's.

    But Prok 1 is my favorite. ;)
