Most hormonal forms of birth control only have a 0.1 - 0.5 % risk of getting pregnant per year. I think a woman that is not on birth control has about an 80% chance of getting pregnant in a year, but that's for women in general, not just 34 year olds. There is a decrease in fertility with age, but when that starts happening and how fast it happens depends on the specific woman.
