Is milk healthy or unhealthy?

Okay, I want a straight answer....I tried to google it but it didn't give me very good answers.

I'm curious because I'm trying to eat and drink healthy, but no one seems to answer the question if milk is unhealthy or not (whole milk).

Thank you for your answer!

Skim milk has calcium and some protein. If you eat any meat, chicken, or fish, then you don't need any extra protein.

The advertising campaigns for milk have worked very well, convincing people that milk is good for you. In reality, your body absorbs calcium from fortified orange juice better than from milk because of the acidity.

And the vitamin A and D in milk? It is added, just as it is with calcium-fortified orange juice. To think that the A or D are any more "natural" milk is completely contrary to fact, though many people believe it.

If you are trying to lose or maintain weight, whole milk is not the best choice. Skim or 1% are your best options. Milk is healthy because it provides you with hydration, calcium, and vitamin D. Skim is even healthier because it contains no fat. (It still has calories however.)
