What did I do wrong with this bikini wax?
I made a homemade sugar wax and I tried a bikini wax on myself for the first time. It didn't even work and immediatley after I tried ripping it off, there were very dark purple and black splotches on my bikini line. I didn't damage the skin, but what is it? I think they are bruises but they are very hideous. I'm very scared, and how long will it take for them to go away? It is summer and I want to swim! :(. Thanks for any answers!

The bruises will take 7-10 to clear. Ice them, it'll help.
You can go to a wax salon in 2 weeks.

That's happened to me before too. They're just bruises. What REALLY sucks is when the pores start BLEEDING. That's happened to me too.. :P ouch.
But the bruising should go away within 5 days and you should be able to wax again in 2 weeks. :)
