Painful tiny bumps on hands?

I have searched around the internet and found nothing that is exactly like what I seem to have. I get these tiny bumps, usually in clusters, on the palms of my hands and fingers. They are only ever on my palms and fingers, and I usually find them when I wake up. In terms of being painful, I only notice slight irritation (itching) until I actually touch them or if I'm unfortunate enough that they're located in a fold.

Usually, they disappear in a matter of hours if I leave them alone, but there's always more another day.

Update:

To clarify again in terms of painful, they're just slightly itchy until touched or otherwise disturbed, then they're actually quite sore for a few minutes, drawing more attention and extending their stay until I actually leave them alone.

3.Dyshidrosis. Google images and dermnet.nz ...... does it look like this?

It is allergy to a dermatophyte, which is any kind of skin loving bug. mold, yeast, bacteria, virus, parasite, pollen. It could be anywhere on your body. The rash on the hands(or feet) is just a red flag. Take anti-histamines for immediate relief. Fexofenadine 180mg, and 12 hours later 60mg, then every 12 hours 60mg. This is not the cure. But it will stop the itching. Go to dyshidrosis@yahoogroups for treatments and information.

By itching them, you are increasing the amount of histamine released, which causes more itching.

I would guess this is an allergy to dust mites, not the mites, but their sh**. wash your bedlinen using KP40 or canestan anti fungal rinse and air dry in sunshine. Vacuum your floors every day.

Air your mattress in sunshine too.

Source(s): I actually study this condition. People get it on their feet, usually as an allergy to Athletes' foot, but my studies have shown, just by talking to people, that you can get the same symptoms by an allergy to any tiny microbe.

Could be hand eczema. Hard to tell without seeing it. Do the bumps look like little blisters? If so, search dyshidrotic eczema and see if this matches ur condition. A dermatologist can help u with ur condition. Sorry I wasn't much help.
