Achieving Wavy Hair....?
First off my hair is naturally wavy. I believe the term for it would be 'gentle waves'. I like to keep my hair long and it just looks better wavy than straight. However when I brush my hair in the morning it straightens my hair out. Not brushing my hair is out of the question, tho that 'just got out of bed' look for hair seems to be the new thing. Anyway my hair becomes impossible to manage if I don't brush it at least once a day and going out in public with unbrushed hair makes me feel like a slob. So any advice as to how to keep my hair wavy or make it wavy-preferably without curling irons- I would very much appreciate it. Thanks in advance.

I also have a natural wave in my hair, and yes when I brush my hair the wave starts to fade. What I do is at night I use a shampoo called, "Wave it down". It's by,"Herbal". I get it from my hair stylest. Use that. Then in the morrning I wake up and brush my hair the waves are still there then I just very lightly brush my hair and I use hair spray to keep it in place. I HOPE THIS HELPS!!:D

Brush you hair at night and then sleep with braids in your hair. Then in the morning, take out the braids and with some product, comb your fingers through your hair. Another thing is going to bed with rags in your hair. Just cut strips of material, twine your hair around it (twist so it's close to the scalp) and tie it. Then in the morning, take them out and you have ringlets.
Maybe talk with your hairdresser on a cut that would accentuate your waves. I just got mine cut, and all I have to do in the A.M. is comb out my hair. I don't even need to blow dry it, just some anti-frizz and I'm off. It curls just in the right spots.

Over night pull it back and make a bun on the top of your head. First make a high ponytail then twist the ponytail till it starts to curve thenvwrap it and hair tie. This especially works well with wet hair. :) hope that helps
