Which laptop is best for Nana?

My Nana is in her 60's and is getting rid of her desktop and wants a laptop. I'm not sure what kind of laptop to get her. She said that something the size of mine (Toshiba L505) would be good, but she bought this for me a year ago, and I don't think it is sold anymore. I like Toshiba's, personally, and I know how to work them. The only things she is going to use it for is email, banking, and playing spider solitaire. Any recommendations?

The Toshiba Satellite series is a good economical laptop. You don't have to get one with the fastest processor if that's all she's going to do (they are mainly for multitasking). You might want to look at the Chromebooks that are coming out soon, since they are optimized for web activities.

this would be a perfect laptop for her. it has a simple processor that exchanges power for 3 things: much better graphics then other sub 500 dollar laptops, a long battery life between charges and it runs cool. the more Energy a laptop uses, the hotter is becomes and the shorter its life is. this processor uses 30 percent of what the average processor uses. this laptop is used mainly for web browsing/web camming, watching high definition movies and using microsoft office/openoffice. has a 15 inch screen, a dvd writer and a built in mic as well as the camera. it is 349 and this site offers free shipping and no sales tax unless you live in califonia. heres the link

Dont waste your money on a laptop. You should get a potatoe.
