Ramussen Poll: 63% believe Palin is unqualified to be POTUS?
49% believe that Romney is the most qualified, 43% believe Ron Paul is unqualified, and then there's Faux News Media darling..Palin.
Everyhing points to Romney..and it's early...but if Palin is this great politician, why do 63% of the people polled think she's unqualified?
=============================================================================

A new Rasmussen Reports national telephone survey finds that 49% of Likely U.S. Voters think that Romney, a former Massachusetts governor and unsuccessful GOP presidential candidate in 2008, is qualified to be president. Twenty-five percent (25%) say he is not qualified, and another 25% are not sure. (To see survey question wording, click here.)
Still, that’s well above how voters view some of Romney’s chief competitors in the race. Twenty-seven percent (27%) rate both former Minnesota Governor Tim Pawlenty and maverick Texas GOP Congressman Ron Paul as qualified to be in the White House. But 32% say Pawlenty is not qualified, and 42% are undecided.
As for Paul, 43% think he’s not qualified to serve as president, but 31% aren’t sure.
Twenty-six percent (26%) believe former House Speaker Newt Gingrich has the qualifications to be president, but nearly half (48%) disagree. Twenty-six percent (26%) are not sure.
However, voters feel strongest that Palin, the Republican vice presidential nominee in 2008, is not qualified. Twenty-three percent (23%) say the former Alaska governor is qualified to serve as the nation’s chief executive, but 63% say she is not qualified. Palin is the best-known of the Republicans with just 15% undecided about her.
Perceptions of Romney and Palin are unchanged from a year ago, but voters are a little more skeptical of Gingrich’s qualifications now.
Who'd have thunk that the first response would try discredit a poll as Liberal media bias....
@No More BS
nice try mr. Hyperpartisan hatemonger.
Nice try yourself there. The fact that's more important about the poll is thaat the guy who most people think is qualified is going to get cannibalized by his own party. If there is anyone qualified to succeed Obama, it is Romney..yet because of biases YOUR party won't elct the poor *******.

"why do 63% of the people polled think she's unqualified?"
Because most people know quite a lot about her.

She had an interview with Chris Wallace on Sunday, she insisted Paul Revere rode and warned the British. There is some support to that, with a letter Revved wrote of the events of that night. Forbes calls it an obscure item in history.
I think Sarah is not electable. She seems to like being the star and in the lime light, but does not want to put the work into being as knowledgeable as possible. A large selling point for any election is the outside appearance of the package. Yeah,. Sarah is a good looker, but I am not talking about that.
i am talking about someone like Obama that presented himself in the most professional way. It was pumped up lies, and a lot of hollow words, and much BS... but, the weaker minds seemed to like being told lies and living in a fantasy world of social justice.
Sarah just ain't got it/.

thanks to Rasmussen polls it was so funny that a week before the last presidential election the republican KNEW that McCain won. I put the ones who KNEW he one on my watch list but I was so happy after the election I didn't go back for awhile. Then when I went back they all left the site.
I hope Romney does make it to the top because the man who actually did the work that he took credit for was on CNN & MNBC etc. telling how he saved the Olyinpics & Romeny took the credit. Then the exposure of the Mormon church & the acting they are trained to do before they come in their white button down shirts to your door. Then the movie showing how hateful they were when Michael Moore was asked to speak in Utah. Hate migh appeal to some Christians who really do not understand what Christianity is about at all.
They come to your door but do no dare go to there door. They are a cult. I like some Mormons but I do not want one running the country it is to dangerous to give a group like that so much power. Look what Bush did. He robbed the country & people died.

For c0ns who will say this is a left-wing poll, I don't care which wing it is, left, right, top, bottom, middle, people know Palin is a side show, not a president. Guess what, Palin knows it too, which is why she will not announce!

Quite frankly, since Palin has not even begun to campaign and make the case for herself yet to the people, I don't find a lot of validity in this poll.
Well, I suppose it's valid as in the data is correct. But I don't find much meaning in it.
