The right shampoo is very important or not?

Wish someone had told me this years ago. This has been my problem all along! The shampoo that I have been using in the shower runs down my body when I rinse it out of my hair, and it clearly states on the bottle:¨For extra volume and body¨.

I am going to have to switch and start using Dawn dish soap. The bottle clearly states: ¨ Dissolves fat that is otherwise difficult to remove¨.
