I wil translate from CEO language to English:

We here at GM feel we have an advantage in the Hy-byrd car market. We will make the hy-byrd cars more expensive than usual to make more money . This $1 gas tax would force more people to buy our over priced hy-byrd cars. Put we reduce emission and help out the national debt! It sounds like a Win-win-win situation here at GM!

Do you know who the loser is ? Us, the average consumer.

    Oh come now,

You didn't really think that stinkbomba gave his union buddies all that money and wouldn't expect some kind of favor 'when the time comes', did you? And besides, stinkbomba wants to make sure that he gets his cut before the price starts to rise again due to his mooselimb buddies raising the price of a barrel of oil and all the government gets is 40% of the action via big oil corporate income tax.

This way stinkbomba can get $1.00 more right off of the top, then get extra income tax due to the inflation his misguided miserably failing marxist-socialist policies caused The government can NEVER get enough money. And I am sure there are loser libs that still think that stinkbomba is a great leader.

This is just one more reason I will NEVER own a GM or Chrysler product ever again.

No because several things are transpiring here: With this GM person making these proposals he will probably get his employees out of Obama care. This of course will make it profitable for him and his cronies due to the fact their operating costs per employee, when they know what the actual savings be for them now they will escape Obama care.

On the other hand GM will have been granted some other immunity in the form of a tax break as long as they build "GREEN CARS" and continue to support Obama publicly.....................

No. The Government is making all auto manufacturers increase their fuel efficiency standards. That means that all the cars manufactured by GM will have to average a higher average fuel efficiency than consumers currently want. They'll be required to churn out tiny tin boxes that nobody wants to buy at current gas prices, but they might become marketable if gas continues to go through the roof. I know you hate it, but Obama knows what's best.

Not insane, just in Obama's pocket since the bailout. Raising gas prices IS Obama's agenda. His friends and cohorts have said so. Dan is just saying what he's told,Obama owns him now. Bet the GM of Ford doesn't feel the same way.

That's probably what GM agreed to when they took our money.

Come out and promote taxes since this administration wouldn't dare right now.

I would bet that 0bummer or someone high in his regime told GM (government motors) to suggest this new tax on every American.

Nah, raising gas prices was Bush's agenda for his Saudi friends. But adding an extra tax to gas just makes electric cars more appealing.

Epic failure as a credible idea. Does this tool have any concept whatsoever what this would do to an already strained middle class? Truly an idiot's idiot.
