YES, banks very often ask for a co-signer if the number one applicant has a credit score that is low and not acceptable for the loan....... pick your co-signed carefully (( Mom or Dad are best == as they will understand and help you if you should get behind in your payments )) that part is important ....

Yes, as long as you have a job making $1800-$2,000 a month.
No job = no loan no matter who your co-signer is.
