Will Minecraft work well on an upgraded netbook?

I have a Dell Mini 9 netbook with 1GB of RAM and an Intel Atom processor. I recently tried playing Minecraft Classic and it ran fairly well. If I bought Minecraft beta, would it run fast, or would it be laggy? If I upgraded my netbook to 2GB of RAM, would it run fast?

it depends on how old and how fast the notebook is, but if the classic ran ok the I guess the Beta should as well, but if it doesn't run properly you might have to turn down the video options and exit any programs open in the background.

It should run properly then but if it still doesn't run propwry the I suggest making some more room by deleting and/or uninstalling old programs as this can help it.

the only other thing I would suggest is to download an update for your graphics card.

Well, Minecraft Beta is single player (for the most part), so you wouldn't have to worry about network lag. I'm pretty sure that it would be fast on that computer.

Oh, and just in-case you don't know (even though you more likely do know), Minecraft Beta doesn't have unlimited supplies. You have to collect all the resources, craft all the tools, survive with limited health, and try not to get eaten by large spiders, creepers, zombies, and skeletons that shoot arrows at you.

No, my pal, there is not the two a thank you to run it without setting up a sparkling photos card, PLUS you could not improve the photos card in a netbook computing device. i'm afraid you're caught with what you have have been given.
