restore sony laptop to factory settings w/o a disk?

i believe i have a sony via laptop, either ways roughly 2 years old but has gone to **** when i was in Basic training for the Air Force, so please some one let me know how i could restore my laptop to factory settings with out a disk. Thank you

    If it is a sony vaio you could consider going to the sony site. You may have to enter your model number for support. You might need a blank dvd disk where you do copy files from a partitioned hard drive. You would have to let us know what model number you have to provide more help.

    i'm uncertain if that's the comparable with the older Vaio's yet as quickly as I have been given my FZ computing device there's a utility in there for burning a set of restoration disks. it would be hiding interior the initiating menu someplace.
