Do you know any hockey players who are superstitious?
Hockey players are known to be the second most superstitious kind of athletes out there, after baseball players. Do you know any hockey players who are superstitious? If so, who are they and what are their superstitions?
Legendary NHL goaltender Patrick Roy had numerous superstitions:
Before every game, he would crouch down and stare at his goal; he visualized his net shrinking.
He would lay out his equipment on the locker room floor and dress himself in a specific order.
He refused to skate over any lines on the ice, he would instead, step over them.
He would have conversations with his goal posts throughout games.
During intermissions, he would juggle and bounce a puck off the ground.
BQ: Do you have any superstitions of your own? If so, what are they?

crosby's really superstitious. he eats the same exact thing before games, same exact routine before games. the rapist 'stache was a superstition as well. he sends the same texts to the same people after games. after he wraps his hockey stick, he doesn't like when other people touch it. stuff like that. 87 is not only his number, but he was also born 8-7-87 and his salary is 8.7 million.
BQ* none that i can think of.

Every player that grows a playoff beard or refuses to touch the conference championship cup probably carries a touch of superstitious-ism....
BQ - The only superstitious / odd thing I do is tell the golf ball where I want it to go. Not in a Happy Gilmore way, but more like a coach tells a player what to do... "Head about 270 yards and draw back a little, but don't get too close to the tree line.....". Rarely do the balls follow directions, and they are often punished by going for an unintentional swim or hike through the deep woods....

nicely once I play hockey i hit upon some thing that catches and then I save it going. i'm getting some thing new for each season. This season I forgot to take off my Necklace(Its an Irish Clover) and that i forgot to bathe my undershirt. I scored a Hat-trick that game and have been given 2 help! the subsequent 3 video games i did no longer substitute a factor and that i've got been given 2 targets the final 2 video games and a minimum of a million help. basically the different week I forgot my necklace and my stick broke that game, I deflected a %. in my very own internet, and we misplaced. once I watch a Wings play, I consistently positioned on my 2002 Stanley Cup Championship hat and Drink Molson Canadian and could desire to have my spot on the settee. Toronto video games, I could desire to have my Blue Maple Leafs jersey on and Drink Labatt Blue whilst sitting in my spot. so a techniques none of it has failed! I basically desire I had my White Leafs Jersey on whilst The Isles performed the Devils that final game!!

Patrick Roy is the only one I can think of, off the top of my head.
BQ: For me, I put all my goalie gear on the same way, take all off in a certain way. Load up my bag with the gear a certain way. Probably all more of a habit, than a superstition tho.
@Nelly - I like that Red Bull superstition. lol

Sidney Crosby will not talk to his mom before game days. He thinks talking to her will to some soft of disaster. Dany Heatley eats Five Guy burgers before games, just like how Tim Lincecum eats In-N-Out burgers before his games. Glenn Hall believe vomiting lead to victories.
BQ: Every time I play softball, even for fun, I always have to have my (black and white) titanium necklace on.

Tim Thomas. After each period, he bangs his stick against the posts, even if they aren't there! When a Canucks knocked the net over at the end of the period, he just banged his stick against thin air.
