Seriously!?!?!? I need help lease. Accutane and I'm scared:(?
Im not trying to freak but listen. I've been taking accutane for 3 weeks and have been having scary symptoms.Mild Stomach pain. and mucus in my stool. And frequent stool. Could I have gotten a disease from just 3 weeks of accutane. Also my dermotologist isn't in she's away so I need to know if I can just stop accutane and wait until I get my blood work done which is tomorrow. Can I just stop taking it abruptly? Will anything more adverse happen? Thanks. I reall scared. I know there's nothing I can do about it now. I just need to know what's happening.

Stopping the accutane won't cause your symptoms to worsen, but you need to contact if not your dermatologist, but your general doctor because it seems you are experiencing an adverse effect that needs to be addressed as soon as possible. So if I were you, I'd stop the dosage and contact your doctor within the next 24 hours or so.

I would stop the Accutane now and as soon as your dr. returns get an appt. asap. As far as I know, it can be stopped abruptly but since your dr. isn't in town, check with the pharmacist who filled this.
He/she will know better than I.
