Why do people change history?

To make themselves look better to others. I HATE it when they do that because it usually works against me.

Because their power has gone to their heads and they start thinking, hey, I'm the last Time Lord, time should be bending to ME, not I to it! So they get these God complexes and start choosing who lives and who dies and messing with destiny and that changes it, it changes EVERYTHING.
